Message	when 1 goes, it's not long until one by one they give you a nasty surprise. Pull the plenum and do the coolant bypass. Also replace the heater core hoses at the same time and it'll be good for years. If you don't want to pull the plenum, you could just bypass it and leave the plenum on and the hoses under it will just not be used for anything.
